I'd forgotten I'd taken so many butterfly photos last summer
Last year the garden was so full of all sorts of butterflies (which since apparently they're in decline was always a joy to see). I've always believed in leaving nature to do it's thing and not disturb the garden and it's wildlife too much by keeping things too neat or using pesticides... Perhaps that's why they like it?

I'm not really much of an expert (although I'd like to be) but I believe this is a Tortoise Shell... I think...
