Description
A wealthy old lady writes to Belgium detective Hercule Poirot, believing she has been the victim of a murder attempt. It is common knowledge that Bob, the lady's faithful dog, leaves his ball at the top of the staircase. It is an accident waiting to happen and happen it does... Or so they believe until Poirot discovers that this was no accident by a careless dog leaving a ball at the top of the darkened staircase but cold, calculated murder!

A couple of days ago I finally handed in my Murder Mystery/Detective stories project!

This was a design I did a little while ago (when I was trapped at home due to the car breaking down ) but only recently did a colour finished version. Yay!
Anyway, this was intended to be a book cover design for Agatha Christie's Poirot murder mystery novel: Dumb Witness (one of my favourites! ) and took inspiration from art deco colours and patterns (the era of Christie's work).
