Silent Hill 2 remains one of the pinnacles of horror games to me. The leap from PS1 to PS2 really showed here with the improvements in lighting, but more importantly the texture work and sound design. Plus the introduction of Pyramid Head and the amount of obvious and subtle symbolism just elevated my appreciation for this game so much.
Unfortunately I don’t feel like this is my strongest work. Always a struggle when the vision in you head doesn’t quite turn out, but oh well.

Literally some of the best SH fanart I have ever seen. I love the imprints of scenes from the game behind James and Maria. Just phenomenal, such a worthy respect to imo the greatest horror game.

i really just want a horror game where you just eat the atmosphere and it scares you mentally again, this art is beautiful.

i know right? :,C that was just...why? The only reason i would have bought a PS4 just gone, out the window. Silent Hill, even after all the bad games, still have potential, hell i honestly think there is a lot of potential even with James and the sunderlands, do you know about James mother?
