A continuation from the 'Miranda's Chosen' story.

Jill: *Finishes up in the restroom and comes outside* "Alright, Clem, I'm done. We can continue our walk, now." *Looks around and notices that Clementine isn't anywhere in sight* "Clementine? Clementine, where are you?!"

*In a panic, Jill frantically searches around and calls for her adopted daughter, but there is no response. She really begins to worry and continues her search until she suddenly hears Clementine screaming and crying for help in the distance. Following Clementine's cries and pushing through some bushes leading to another section of the park, she spots Clementine, being carried away by Mother Miranda*

Jill: *Panicked and infuriated at the sight of her carrying Clementine away* "Wha? HEY! HEY, YOU! GET BACK HERE WITH MY DAUGHTER!" *Eagerly chases after her. Upon catching up to her, Jill grabs onto Clementine and engages in a brief tug-of-war scuffle with Mother Miranda* "Give me my daughter, you bitch!" *Jill manages to pry Clem from Mother Miranda's arms, then cuddles her tightly against her chest. Clementine is trembling in fear in her arms* "Clementine, are you okay?"

Clementine: *Trembling and sniffling* "Jill, please.... please don't let Mother Teresa get me...."

Jill: *Cuddling Clementine* "Shhh, I won't, sweetie. I'll never let anything happen to you." *Kisses Clementine on her head, then turns her attention to Mother Miranda* "You.... you fucking bitch! What in fuck's name do you think you're doing, trying to kidnap my daughter! She's my daughter! MINE! And no one's ever going to take her away from me!"

Mother Miranda: "I can't help but find it quite humorous that you call her that, considering there's no resemblance whatsoever between the two of you."

Jill: "Ever heard of 'adoption', shitbird?!"

Mother Miranda: "It doesn't change the fact that you did not birth that child, so you cannot officially claim her as your own."

Jill: "I went through all of the legal procedures needed to adopt this beautiful girl! So, in actuality, I can claim her as my own! And, what the hell difference does it make that I didn't give birth to her? What gives you the right to make such claims? What are you, some kind of "legal rights" officer or something?"

Mother Miranda: "It doesn't matter what you say or what "legal procedures" you've done. If you didn't give birth to the child, then she is not yours."

Jill: "You didn't give birth to her, either! So, what gives you the right to try and take her away?!"

Mother Miranda: "Oh, but I will give birth to her, once I sacrifice her as my vessel and revive her as my dearest Eva." *Extends her arms to Jill* "Just give the child over to me, and I will see to it that she's well taken care of."

Clementine: *Holds on tightly to Jill*

Jill: *Takes a step back, away from Mother Miranda* "Not in your life, bitch! I made that promise to this girl's parents before they died. I promised that she will always be safe, in good health, and well taken care of with me, and, by God, I will keep that promise! The only way you'll ever even think of laying another finger on this girl is over my dead body!"

Mother Miranda: *Grins sadistically* "And a dead body you shall become."

Jill: *Reaches into the back of her skirt and pulls out her Samurai Edge, holding it at her side* "You really wanna try me, bitch?!"

Clementine: "Jill, no! Not in public!"

Jill: *To Clementine while still staring angrily at Mother Miranda* "I'm sorry, Clem, but this Nun, or whatever the fuck she is, is really pushing my buttons! Quite frankly, I don't think she has a clue of who she's fucking with!"

Mother Miranda: "Neither do you."

Jill: *Grits her teeth and slides down the hammer on the back of her Samurai Edge with her thumb* "You're really tempting me.... Just keep shooting off that fat mouth of yours...."

Mother Miranda: "You think that mere toy scares me? Like, it would really have any effect on me."

Jill: "Shall we test it out, and see?"

Mother Miranda: "Are you at all aware that I would rip your heart straight from your chest and crush it to bloody bits right before your very eyes? You pretend and make out like you're a tough survivor, but in reality, you're just a scared, little girl...... just like the one you hold in your arms."

Jill: "You fucking bitch!" *Aims her Samurai Edge to Mother Miranda's forehead*

Clementine: "Jill! No! Please! We're in a public park! Let's just get out of here. Let's just go home, okay?"

Jill: *To Mother Miranda* "You'd better thank your lucky stars, because if it hadn't been for my daughter, the people who work at this place would've been scraping your brains off the pavement!" *Lowers the Samurai Edge and conceals it in her skirt* "If you ever, EVER put your hands on my daughter again, I shall personally see to it that I rip your heart straight from your chest!"

Mother Miranda: *Giggles wickedly* "How pathetic."

Jill: "Come on, Clementine. Let's go." *To Mother Miranda* "I'd better not ever see you again! Go back to the cathedral, or wherever it is you came from!" *Turns the opposite direction and walks away while still cuddling Clem*

Mother Miranda: *Stands in place and watches coldly as Jill walks away, then calls* "Heed my words: That child will be mine, one way or another. It's only a matter of time. So look, you're only delaying the inevitable!" *Laughs wickedly*

Clementine: *Gasps and begins to tremble in Jill's arms again*

Jill: *Cuddles Clementine tightly while still walking away* *Softly* "Don't listen to any of that, sweetie. She'll never take you away from me, and if she tries, I'll put her ass six feet under, if not in a jail cell!"
