Description I found pretty cool KO figures on a website KO Toys. One of the neatest ones they had was a multicolored Autobot car.

I stripped him down to bare parts ans altered his feet so he had moveable ones. He has been given a ball jointed head and wrists.

I totally revamoed his shoulder rockets with GI joe missiles but made them in his old school G1 colors.

That's really good, pity I can't get my Classics/Universe Silverstreak to pose that well.

He use to not stand that great till I modded his feet, so dont feel to bad.

He has good balance, once he's posed just right, but the designers of the toy didn't do a good enough job with the feet. Oh well, he still looks great.

did you rebuild blue streak's head?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Shinobitron In reply to royi-20 [2009-11-10 15:49:47 +0000 UTC]

Would say rebuilt but I gave him a ball jointed neck so he can look around.

Usually get them from Scrapper Gundam kits.

That's pretty nifty, man, but the head you used is a bit small in comparison to the rest of his body. Is he still able to transform? His thighs looks a bit too long to fit into car mode.

Shinobitron In reply to soy-monk [2009-11-10 15:52:34 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! The head is a tad small but they (the KO company) did it for a reason. The head section changes completely different than the Universe one. It flips around back and gets stored into a compartment under the windshield. The good part is the head lies flatter than the Universe one and doesnt looks as awkward.

The automotive shot should be there.

Yeah, it definitely seems to "attach" to the hood of the car better than the actual mold that Hasbro/Takara have. That was the one thing I didn't like about that mold, the head just seemed so out of place on the body, like it was barely attached.

Um... the Universe/Classics 2.0 Prowl mold (and all subsequent redecoes and retools) was based off of a 350Z.

This is your first time seeing one of the characters based on the Prowl mode with a 350Z alt mode?

Yes it is. I just thought it was your idea.

How'd you think it was my idea?

Anyways, this is what the figure looks like:

He's called Silverstreak because Hasbro wasn't able to trademark his original name from G1.

Well when i drew mine i just looked at the old 240Z and thought i'd make it a new one. I didn't know someone thought of it before i did.

Ah, well, if you ever plan to hunt down either Universe/Classics 2.0 Prowl, Smokescreen, or Silverstreak, I'd probably try looking on eBay or something. You probably won't have much luck finding them at retail nowadays, which is a shame.
