Description
Back again with another B List TF this time with yet another Pretender Iguanus!Iguanus was made from a Maisto Transforming bike. I altered the bike to have a real head attached that resembled the original figures head. He was painted Warlock and Lich purple. One of the cool features of the bike is that it actually left a tail on him in the bot mode and the helmet on his head looks like a lizard thus keep this reptile aspect to him.
Another thing that I liked about this mold is that it also looks similar to the old Robotech transforming bike armor. As such since I had some Robotech decals remaining I added them making this figure a combination of 3 universes (Robotech, G1 Transformers, and Universe styling).

Do you use waterslide or stickers for the decals?

All depends on the situation. I use lots of reproduction labels from Reprolables.com

Almost like he's a Classics/Universe version, very nicely done, the colours are quite striking.

No problem, you've got quite the eye for colour and knack for custom TF's.

I've seen those little bikeformers and thought they would be good for kitbashing. two alternative characters they may work for would be g1 groove and maybe g1 override.

This has the appeal of Beast Machines and the pretenders all wrapped in one figure...no easy task by a long shot! Good work!

Glad I'm not the only person who felt that. I as I painted the Warlock purple on I got that and a Sentinel vibe from him.

This was some odd transforming bike I found at a bargain outlet called Ollies. Maisto made these guys. They have no head so I had to get one from Clocker.
