Description
This is my fave Autobot of all time. He never got a figure outside of G1 and that P'ed me off to no end. I decided to update Kup into a TFA form using a TFA Cybertron Prime. Primes body was befect for his Alt mode but his head lacked what I needed to give him the old guy look. I took Ratchets head and reworked that sucker like no tomorrow. He has been given a new jaw his trademark helmet and even a nose! I opted to keep all light piping in him since the glowing blue eyes fit the old guy. Finally I decided to give him a fitting weapon. The gun of course was a no brainer but I also gave him a weapon to suit his stature in life. I used Primes axed and altered it into a Cane that can also be used to clobber Deceptibrats.Hope ya like the old guy cause as of now he's my personnal fave!

I think a cool addition would be to put the 6 red lines coming out the side of the Autobot logo. Showing that he is a part of the Elite Guard.

I loved Kup from when I saw him in the 1986 movie. I could never understand why he seemed so unappreciated. He is funny, cool and tough; making him the ideal oldie. Maybe I sympathise with him as I'm older!

He reminds me of my grandpap thats why I think I connected to him. He served in WWII and Korea so he had tons of stories to tell!

My dad was ex-army and used to tell loads of stories. My mum was as well. Guess that's why I like him.

Yep your right it was yellow, but on the toy. I kinna mixed elements and color from the toy, comics and Movie.

So far, this is my favorite TFA kitbash I've seen to date. It's just such a great recreation of the character. It's just perfect.

Also gratz on the TF Ironman pickup. They are non existant in my area. I managed to snag a Hulk for a Grimmy conversion later on though.

He should have been the old-timer instead of Ratchet. He kicked as and the Dinobots loved his stories.

Good stuff! BTW, just in case you haven't heard yet, which I'm betting you have, Reprolabels just posted a bunch of new sets, including the WST Sludge and Swoop sets. I took the opportunity to nab those along with the Universe Prowl as I was lucky enough to find him in stores. You want to know what was REAL luck though was finding the last Fin Fang Foom series Savage She-Hulk figure the store had. Really made my day there. Now I just have to convince myself to open the damn thing, sell off the BAF's head and neck, then do some minor trimming to Shulkie's dress; the master on the box looks great, but the actual figure has a dress that looks WAY to frilly for my tastes. And one last thing, Reprolabels once again opened my eyes to customizing when they offered some stickers along with a simple repaint that can turn an Indiana Jones Mutt Williams into a Transformers Sam Witwicky. Didn't even occur to me until I saw that! Got those stickers too. Now I just have to make a tiny little All Spark for him to hold and I'll be all set.

THIS IS AWESOME! So far, I am not impressed with the actual Animated figures. All of the repaints have been better but THIS one is cool. It makes sense. It looks like Kup and it doesn't look like an Animated figure. It looks like an actual G1 Kup figure. Love it!!!
