I do hope you maintain a balance to not make either of them a villain. Jet stream is looking a little bit too much like the villain. What makes them so interesting is that you can sympathize with both. Jet might be the cause of the problem but Delta is the reason it can't get resolved. However making Jet a lazy freeloader makes him a bit too much like a villain and it would cause them to lose the intrigue they have.
I just think that he truly does love her but was too forceful and didn't have enough foresight. It fits his character as he really is one to live in the moment. Not really considering the long term consequences of his actions but also not wallowing in the past. She at the same time wallows so much in the past and in her dreams that she neglects and destroys her present self. This dynamic makes them an ideal couple if they would both just take in a little of the other. Him acknowledging what happened in the past and still make some of it real and she letting go of some of her dreams and accepting the reality.
Apogee is the perfect mix. Being able to see the situation for what it is but still dreaming on what it could be.

Good thing her name is Delta V , because there was some "Deltas" in my life. The most hated one was Delta P, mainly because it was painful to calculate in my Fluid Mechanics subject.
Anyway, they are cute and she should invest in some PC and CAD environment for easier work on her projects .

I am just so impressed right now I have no words. This little sequence tells such a story - the fact that Jet notices her stuffed animals when he first comes in, and then each time he comes he brings her another stuffed animal... Part of me is really curious if Jet was using her... I feel so bad for what happened to Delta's life, it seems like it just ran off the rails.
(Also, MY GOSH you even drew the reflections of the items changing in the mirror! And the book that was on the shelf is on her desk at one point!! The attention to detail here is stunning!)
