FINALLY!! a movie that doesnt involve some random girl who isnt from the actual gamesI'm really proud of this drawing. like, REALLY PROUD of myself! because i actually finished it within a week (took me 2 days actually >;D), and i even have a BG, also i think this is my best coloring job yet...

They look really cute here. Yeah, the RE movies seemed like some really big fanfic with no actual goal or story but just a jumbled very enjoyable mess that ended up working really well, but my biggest grip was that they turned them into a bunch of action movies instead of horror, because Resident Evil is well known for it's non-stop action, explosions, throwing of the F-bomb and boobies more so than it is for being the very game that single-handedly crafted the Survival-horror genre.

I was just speaking what I think about the movies, I still enjoyed them no matter how jumbled and sloppily made they were, they were fun in a childish sort of way with violence abound and everything getting beaten around until the only colour you saw on-screen was read, and the laser grid scene is still one of my favorite scenes in a movie to date, but all that aside they aren't very well made, nor are they faithful to the games in anyway except a few minor events and characters, I just hope that for RE: Afterlife Capcom has more control over it and decides to include Leon, because really, who honestly remembers any other Resident Evil hero more than him, Leon is to Resident Evil what Spider-man is to comic books, easily the most recognizable character...damn I talk too much.

Haha I love this, Leon and Claire just look to be having the time of their lives together something that I think they would rather have then fighting a bunch of undead and creepy virus-born monsters.
Anyway while it's not perfect Degeneration was still miles better then the live actions films, okay the first one was fine if not decent but others were terrible.
That said I think Capcom puts in people like Angela because they don't want to make a canon couple in the series, but at least they add in the teases which is fine with me.
Claire winking at Leon after exiting the elevator was the hottest scene in the movie.

I know Degen isn't perfect, but I loved it man. I thought it was so cool at...certain moments ;D At other parts it was like, omfg why u doin this crapcom.
Angela.... it really would have been a better movie if she wasn't in it. BUT, I agree with you about that canon thing, they didn't want to add any kind of interaction between Leon and Claire that would disrupt the canon-ness of it all.

All movies come down to one thing: overly complicated, sickeningly lovey-dovey subplots that tend to get in the way of the story more often than not. And when they turn books/games/TV shows into movies, they change or delete things for no real reason. So maybe the director is more at fault for that than Capcom.

There was a spark there, I know it for a fact. Cleonism over at livejournal made an excellent argument about the moments and why Leon clearly had no interest in Angela.
