Well when you gotta story you want done before 2010; you gotta push onward.

We continue where we lastleft off from Pages 3-4. Here's 5-6; and this is where things stop for now. This week I'll be working on pages 7-hopefully a lot.

Well the one thing I detest about this page is the first page; where alister's face is at his worst. The one i nthe first panel particularlly bugs me. Why does he look so fat? That was a mistake.
the second panel below is ok, but the last one his chin kinda appears ot be missing. Let's jsut say I am experimenting. Should I ever decide to dit this, I'll do it at my own pace.

Well Alister is just talking with his friends Kaden, sin, and our nameless lombax girl who will eventually be Kaden's wife. (And subsequently Ratchet's mother.) Note how alister says 'Veldin' is a great place to visit, and his brother took him there. Everyone seems excited to go...except for Sin who just stares into the sky muttering nothing. Gloomy gus. =-p

And now, a new character has been introduced. Walking over the hillgreeting young alister is a tall lombax with a light beard and red marked bangs.

Alister refers to him as Nero. And indeed he is my character creation 'Nero Azimuth.' He is Alister's older brother. although I never drew him until now, I figure a comic is a neat way to introduce a character and see how he is personality wise.

First off (as was mentioned before Ner oarrived) it appears Alister forms a strong bond with his older brother. and when Nero does arrive they greet warmly and Nero invites Alister for some funat Kreel Canyon. Alister is naturally delighted...cause that means 'Hover Boot Time!' OH BOY!!! =-D

asking to bring his friends along, Nero obliges with a thumbs up sign and calls alister 'bro.' Right away we can see the differences. In ACiT; Alister is serious. While young here, Alsiter isn't as serious andm ore fun loving, but I would never picture him using slang. So I have his older brother use it.

BTW: how old are they? Well I've made alister to be pre-teen..along with everyone else here. They're about in their 13s or 15s here. Though the faces do change.

Alister's face in the top right hand corner of Page 6 is exactly how I pictured him when he was young. this is the face I really shoulduse from now on. See, you draw the face enough eventually you get a good idea what it should look like.

Same thing for Sin. His face at the bottom left corner of Page 6 is exactly how he looks younger. Sin BTW doesn't seem intent on joinign the fun. Kaden's future wife asks why not. This is when we are introduced to another character who soon will make his appearance: Barge. Col. Barge. He's Sin's trainer and mentor. And given Sin wants to leave and get back ot his training rather than hover boot with his friends...we can tell Barge is rather strict. (And by friends in that he just hangs out with them.) Even Nero waves Sin off telling him not to work too hard under Barge.

And finally we see Nero gaze at his supposed pass again on his now lonely hill. A brief memory; but they pass in and out of our minds don't they?

Well that's all for now folks. Will be gettign the next pages out sometime this week. I'll be working on them right now.
