very useful! i've been using Photoshop for years and i consider myself an advanced user, but i've always avoided masks. now, i think i can use them with confidence

I've been using PS for some time now and Masks are one of the things I have never used, thought about, but never used. Your tutorial will sure help me on the road to learning how to use them. Thanks ^^

Thanks.. this has been SOOOO much help. I used it for my favourite piece, La Mer . What I learned doing that is REALLY REALLY helping on the pieces I've moved on to. I can't thank you enough, this has made my life SOOO much easier !

thanks for your note....I agree I should have done something else with the text....
But I don't know how to do anything so what I end up with is what I end up with
and there's not much else I can do about it. I think I'm just retarded with this stuff.
I read your tutorial like 7 times, even opened the program and tried following what you said
step by step and I still have no clue what you're talking about or what I'm doing.
So, thanks for the suggestion and I agree with you, I just can't do anything about it.

excellent work! I did not know this was possible. Anyway GIMP has the same functionality, which is good for me! Thank you for writing this.
