Description
A Christmassy advertising pic for Virgin, the left hand side is blank for their own text to be placed in. As usual these days, the text was done in Cinema 4D and the rest in PS and Illustrator.I've just spent a few days putting my system back together after a hard drive physically broke (Out of 6 of them it had to be my system drive!). A warning to speed enthusiasts out there, Western Digital Raptors might be fast but you pay in terms of reliability...

Well I've just got a new 1TB Seagate which seems very fast, I can't say much about reliability yet though. I should add that the Raptor was used very heavily and lasted over 2 years.

uh a broken hard drive.. ive never used a western digital but i heard that they arnt that good, i guess i woulnd buy a WD. hope you had a backup :<

oh man. this is amazing. i want to see it in an advert. 
i had a western digital external with tons of tons of pictures i had saved for future use, and it started making funky noises and now.. it wont even work.

My hard drive just crashed today..
I got a dell computer, and it wouldnt boot into windows, just crashing on chkdsk!
I took it out and dell are sending me another one, but ive I cant get the data back ive lost so much!
Do you think its easy to get the data off? If so how could I go about doing it?

I bought a 1TB drive from Seagate, seems to have good reviews and is pretty cheap for the amount of space you get. The Velociraptor just seems too expensive and I don't want to risk another failure. Plus the Raptors are a bit noisy.
