Description Yet another tutorial image, this one is for the latest issue of Advanced photoshop. I was asked to try and reproduce a fairly popular geometric type of art usually done in a 3D package entirely in Photoshop.

It would have been nice to be able to use Illustrator as well but I wasn't allowed I guess that's why the mag's called Advanced Photoshop

Props to *Jesar whose images it was I was asked to imitate for coming up with the style (I think). To be honest it's not really my sort of thing but was quite fun to make.

a fabulous work of art. I totally agree that illustrator is much better to use to create 3D look images but this deviation is an exception to the rule... total

dont understand them. illustrator - espessially cs4 - has so many important workflow connections to photoshop.

It's not, I was asked to imitate someone else's. A good challenge but not something I would normally do for sure.

You're right, it was one of Jesar's image I was asked to imitate, but he uses 3DS max I think.
