This pic is of another Halloween-related story I've got in the works. Right now, it's still in the writing stage, but this is just a teaser.

In this pic, we see two Pannier tank engines; Duck, ex-GWR 5741, now numbered 8, and his little sister, Delilah, 5764 (which is one of the preserved 57xx Pannier tanks around today) outside Henry's Tunnel. You see, in the 1970's, Delilah was featured in a short film called "The Signalman", based on a story by Charles Dickens, better known for the stories of "A Christmas Carol" & "A Tale of Two Cities". During the film, there were a few incidents that involved Delilah every time she entered a tunnel on a particularly lonely stretch of the railway line. Two incidents that haunt her to this day are when a young bride died after being thrown off her train, and when she tried to whistle a warning to let the signalman know she was coming, only to run him over in the end. Ever since then, she's had a traumatizing fear of tunnels.

During a much-needed holiday on the Mainland, Sir Topham Hatt paid a visit to the Severn Valley Railway (home to the real 5764 and Oliver's sibling, GWR 1450) in search of another engine to help out on the Little Western, following the extension to Harwick. He found Delilah in storage after her boiler ticket had expired in 2011, and made a deal with the manager to purchase her and have her overhauled on Sodor. The deal was a success and after a much-needed overhaul, Delilah was ready to work again. After reuniting with Duck, he gave her a tour of the line and showed her some of the duties that needed to be doing. However, he grew concerned when he noticed her grind to a halt outside any tunnels she came to, refusing to move. Delilah revealed to Duck exactly what had happened, leaving her older brother more worried than ever. Now, he's got a personal goal to help Delilah overcome her fear of tunnels, but he won't be acting alone. Another engine that will help him is Ariana ( 's OC of GWR 1450).
