Ok now im trying to give this piece some context or story. Who doesnt want thier own iron giant
of course this kids is remote controlled but heyAny comments on the kid at all? i dont generally do characters like this or facial expression etc...
need to do something with those inner vents too

yeah the next step is to figure out what other elements i want to add to make it feel like a complete story. Not sure i want to go down the whole picked on bully route. seems a little cliche or overdone...

The proportions of the bot are sweet. While there are some inconsistencies in lighting already mentioned, it's a pretty solid sketch.
I'd like to see some more of this dude.

ps: where is his shadow?
the strong light from above lioks the best on the upper legs! but then again it diesnt match the shading of the lower arms imo.
this nice highlight tone on the legs is missing in the rtorso head area. you should try to vercast the torso just like the upper legs adn see is it will look more realistic
