This picture is based off of the incredibly sweet song "You'll be in my Heart" by Phil Collins(I freakin' love Phil Collins~) a link can be found here, and I openly recommend listening to it while viewing this picture [link]

And thus, my inspiration has officially returned to me~! (and apparently my drive to make long descriptions again!) You guys are definitely going to see more welld-one, effort-based pictures in the future from me, and quite happily so ^^ so why not help me out with long, detailailed comments every now and then eh?ehh?? :3 *shot*
Well either way, I really hope you like this picture!^^ took me awhile to make it, so I'd love some nice feedback.

So basically, the idea behind this was one day i really wanted to draw Chestnut and Scratte as little cubs/kits/pups/whatevers(dey so coot~ )But then I decided I ALSO wanted to design how their mom would probably look, and THEN I decided to make a cute little family pic of sorts with two MORE OCs I just happened to make as I went along with this XD
I figured Scratte would have a fair amount of siblings, as Squirrels can have about 5-8 pups/kits in a single litter(I did actually go to the liberty of studying Squirrels alittle, I think they're very awesome animals XD)
So these are all of my OCs related to her, they're names are

Scarlet
The biggest Squirrel in the picture with the dark-red fur. She is the mother of the litter, though the father is(for now) unknown.
I gave her purple "Eye-Shadow" since it seemed fine to do so, since Scratte has a similar look(though she doesn't in the picture, as I assume it was something she grew to have as far as appearance as she got older~) and all, plus it also looks very nice. ^^

Bandit
The red-furred one atop Scarlet's back with a thick-furred, striped tail, I based her design off of the Fire-Ferret from Avatar: Legend of Korra, called Pabu(Cutest "team pet" character ever>w< ferrets are epic.) and also Red Panda,s, because I love those furry lil' things to death

Chestnut
Light ginger-furred(or gingerish, don't really know..) one to the left of Scratte with a brown streak down her back and a white-tipped tail.

Vixen
Light orange/ginger one to the right of Scratte with a white tail tip similar to Chestnut's, her name came the foxlike appearance I gave her, and she definitely had the easiest design to think up out of my Squirrel characters.
