Why exactly is it called "ottoman"?

Also the top usually lifts open like a lid and it's storage inside.Β

It's the name of the furniture she's on. It's like a sofa without a backrest.

Great work on all! Love the details like how the belts pull the couch and the neck corset folds a bit. Shaders look very real. To improve: belts thicker, sack needs glued seams not stitched, her pose should be flat on the surface at her knees as well when tightly bound.

Thanks for showing here!

Amazing job, which programs did you used for it ? I'm trying to learn 3D and that's what I'd love to be able to do after months/years of learning.

Thanks! I work with 3D renderers for a while now but its an ever expanding world of new stuff to learn.
Here's the workflow for this:
I started with some female model I had, tweak it in zbrush for posing and some customization. The ottoman's leather, the sack, mask and straps I did using marvelous designer + some zbrush to tweak the form. The rest is basic box modeling (maya) or some sculpting (zb).
The render is Redshift for maya, using PBR textures i've created in Substance Painter.

Thanks a lot for your answer. I've started doing test on marvelous designer last week and will do some tests on zb today. Once I will feel more confortable with those I'll look for maya or a way to do nice renders.
