Here is the finished product. My scanner is not very good so I took a picture of it. It might be a little fuzzy but I will put another picture of it farther away in my scraps. I hope you like it.A shy Darren Shan from Cirque du freak.

Shading is the only time I switch off from mechanical pencil. I use a soft lead pencil. My fingers are absolutely filthy after.
I am sure you are not that bad at shading. Mine does not always come out right. And, contrary to popular belief, I am not very popular either. =]
I just sort of did it up without putting much thought into it. Just felt like drawing Darren at any phase during his life. =]

This is probably one of my favorite of your drawings! You have a small habit of drawing a second eyebrow but other than that it's perfect.
It looks more sad and guarded then Shy but I still very much like the tone of it. You also did a great job on his features.

This is one of my favorites as well. That other little line is supposed to be the edge of the eye socket rught under the eyebrow. It is just something that I accent. I do not know why.
