Possibly. My dad and I watch a show called Face Off where people have to create characters based on a theme. One of the challenges was to create a whimsical character based on an item. One team chose crayons and instead of making a colorful character they made a crayon character but instead of making him super colorful, they made him one solid color. So me and my dad drew what we thought the character should have looked like.

I've seen Face Off, it's a good show. Weird that they would go for 'crayon' but only pick one colour. Glad you and your dad fixed that mistake^^
