Mothman is the famous, as well as infamous Cryptid from Point Pleasant, West Virginia. It’s been a while since people have seen him, but he still roams and watches over the small town. He lives in what is referred to as the “TNT Area”. He mainly scares or drives people away due to the area being dangerous. While he appears scary and intimidating, he does genuinely care about the safety and well being of Point Pleasant. Why? He’s not sure exactly. He has always had this strange urge to protect them or warn them about oncoming danger. Whenever a tragedy happens to the small town, he can’t help but blame himself and feel responsible for it. He feels as if he could have done more to protect them or help them prepare. He does his best to stay away from the prying eyes of cryptid hunters and anyone that could cause trouble to try and better protect the people he cares about.
