**Leviathanosaurus rex**

The Insulasia Ocean is a great body of water surrounded by the Panmezo Ring, a string of landmasses made up of the continents Kaltun, Allun, Mezzem and Breeyoh. With shallow waters surrounding the outer reaches and a deep drop off at the center, the ocean has many different habitats within it's borders. From reefs to shallow sand banks, a multitude of life calls these places home.

The leviarex is a huge predator of the shorelines, over 90 feet long, with elderly males a fair bit larger. They have a preference for sandy areas as they match their coloration, though they do have some flexibility as they can be found among the reefs and underwater gardens.

Their prey preference includes any number of large game that forages along the coast, from their own smaller relatives and up to pelagic animals that visit the shallows at certain times of the year. They're ambush predators, surprising prey from below with a swift and ending the short pursuit with a powerful bite.

A female leviarex can often be seen with 3 young by her side, each of different calving seasons. The oldest of which may well be on the cusp of independence. They often stay with their mothers for up to 12 years gaining valuable life experience to prepare themselves for their adult lives.

Once independent, males will roam vast distances until they have established their own territories, untul then they bulk up right up until they reach optimal physical fitness to settle down. Females on the other hand are nomadic, travelling between male territories for the occassional opportunity to mate or to visit related individuals.
