*gasp* I made a 12 year old? Not a gay guy? Not a pretty woman? guess I just didn't wanna draw boobs this time around XD technically if she was 12 she should have some, but lets just have her hit puberty late <3

Name: Melanie Shu

Hometown: Pastoria City
Region: Sinnoh

Bio: Melanie was born in Pastoria City and grew up loving the mud and water making her a lover of water/ground mix pokemon such as wooper and mudkip. However her love for Wooper is the strongest. When she turned 10 she had no interest of going to Professor Rowan for any of those “stupid starters” so she went into the great marsh to catch a wooper for her first pokemon since you don’t need a pokemon to catch it. However this proved to be a difficult task until she came across one special wooper. (to be explained in Upa’s bio)

Melanie is a major wooper enthusiast and hates it when anyone says anything bad about them. She thinks they are the cutest pokemon in the world and if trained properly are the strongest.

Melanie is really friendly but she can be a little clingy. She loves getting piggy back rides and even if you don’t want to give her one, if she likes you, you’ll still be subject to her trying to climb on top of you. She is also incredibly persistent, if she wants to be your friend, YOU WILL BE HER FRIEND, no if ands or buts. Even if someone doesn’t want anything to do with her she will constantly find them and talk to them, even holding onto them to keep them from running away, and the more you try to run the more fun she finds trying to befriend you. So for anyone who doesn’t want to be her friend, but peaks her interest it is often suggested to do something to hurt her feelings. Since there are plenty who aren’t mean enough to do that however, most people are just stuck with her (at least until she strikes a final nerve).

However if you happily become her friend she really is a nice person and less of a nuisance. (though still a tad clingy). She’s a bit naïve about a lot of things, especially things like love or any of that grown up stuff. Things usually have to be spelled out for her, but on rare cases she’s been known to pick up hints on things, but it’s almost always when it’s related to someone else and not her.

-She speaks in third person when referring to herself
-She has a bit of a brother complex and loves to ride on his shoulders.
-The two things she loves most in the world is Wooper and her brother
-She loves mud
-Out of all the starters in the world if she chose one it would be a mudkip (and then 5 wooper)
-While she’s not exactly bright, she tried to make her pokemons moves as spread out as possible so they could be ready for almost any opponent
-She’s terrible at math
-She’s great at geography so she almost always knows where she is
-She carries a bathing suit with her because she'll jump at the first chance to swim.
-she's good at sewing
-once she and someone becomes friends, she's not nearly as annoying as when she's trying to befriend them, since she obviously doesn't have to try to get the person's attention anymore (or not as much at least)

Pokemon
Upa: female
Upa was Melanie’s first pokemon. After failing at capturing wooper Melanie was running out of safari balls, however by a chance of luck she dropped one. And as it rolled away from her a special little wooper came waddling by and saw the ball rolling towards it and went to check it out. While inspecting the ball she poked the button on it with her face immediately causing the ball to eat her whole. Not even knowing how to struggle to get out of the ball she just sat in it patiently as the ball finalized the catch. Now she is rarely in her pokeball unless needed and likes to ride on top of Melanie’s head or just be carried.

Upa’s intelligence is below average even for a wooper and she’s a little special case. Melanie thinks it may have fallen on its head as a child, but then again she probably did. The two of them bonded almost immediately and Upa’s special demeanor made Melanie fall in love even quicker.
Trivia: Upa is the only wooper who’s ball is a safari ball

ED: Male
Ed is a wooper who is constantly sleepy, Melanie even considered naming him snorlax because of it. She found it sleeping in the mud with its butt sticking out and thought it was the cutest thing so she decided to catch it. Not even realizing anything was happening it made it extremely easy for her to catch the wooper. Because of how likely it is for him to fall asleep during battle she got her hands on tms and everything she could so he could successfully fight while asleep.

Specs: female
Specs is an incredibly smart wooper. While she is smarter than the others she acts just like any wooper, but figures things out quicker than others and enjoys reading. She has taken a role of helper wooper, often helping Upa with things she doesn’t understand such as sitting up. (Upa will just lie on her tummy)

Commander: male
Melanie found Commander hurt in the swamp. It was really messed up and almost dead when she found it. Panicking she put it in a pokeball and ran to the pokemon center as fast as she could. By the time she got there the little guy was almost gone, but after some surgery the wooper pulled through, though he lost his tail and right antenna. Melanie was set on nursing it back to full health even though it didn’t want her help and tried kicking her away and any chance, even trying to run away a few times. But after a while of her persistency he calmed down a bit and grew attached to her. Now he acts like one tough wooper towards others and is incredibly prideful. He does his best to act like a badass (which Melanie finds adorable) and can be a real jerk to other pokemon outside Melanie’s party, buthe has a really big soft side for her.

Diva:female
Diva is a wooper who used to be raised by some rich girl, but after she got a brand new glameow was tossed aside like nothing. She was heartbroken at the betrayal, however her upbringing in the rich life style left her to be a pompous brat who wanted more then she could get without her previous owner. Diva was caught completely by chance when Itsuki battled and caught it. She wants the best of life and accepts nothing less which makes it hard for her to accept the things Melanie tries giving her. Melanie, the persistent girl she is however continued to offer her kindness, as much as the rest of her party wanted Diva out she wasn’t going to simply give up on her.

Diva still hasn't fully come to accept that she is no longer going to live the rich life so she hasn't fully accepted Melanie as her trainer, often ignoring her or using another move just to spite her. However Melanie still hasn't given up on her and hopes that the UBF will help them bond.

Ninja: male
Ninja is only a ninja by name and look. Itsuki made him that outfit because when they first met he was trying to steal some food and be sneaky about it (utterly failing). He really likes the costume and always wears it, though he isn’t much of a ninja since most of his attacks are head on, however there is meaning behind his name, look and mannerisms, but that is to be seen in future pictures and rounds. (anyone want to guess what it is now? Or wait and see)
