Thanks. Did you tried DAZ?

I played with it once, when Daz Studios first took over Bryce.
You see, I started with version 4 of Bryce back when it was still
Metacreations and feel in love with it. Corel made many improvements
and I liked what they di with it. When Daz first took it over,
They tried to incorporate or integrate an existing product which
to me seemed alien. The interface and philosophy are so vastly different
from Bryce that I was resistant from the start and have since chosen
not to install it. I have no experience with Poser either and the reason
for that is I don't like to use elements which have been created by someone else
in my work. Yes, I have done some of that in my work, but very little. If I knew
haw ot do real 3D modeling, I might feel differently. The fact is I have ADD and
therefore it is difficult for me to learn new software. My attention deficit has
gradually gotten worse over the past few years and therefore is a barrier to me
learning anything complex. I have no idea how I have been able to learn certain
software well and others, I just don't have the attention span or patience to learn.
If I have a good enough reason (like a passion) I seem to be able to focus long
enough to learn the ins-and-outs of complex systems. I struggle with things that most
people consider trivial at times. If something is intuitive (for whatever reason) I seem
to be able to get past some of the barriers. I still use Paint Shop Pro 7.04 and
understand it very well and can do almost anything with it but it is behind the times
in many ways. I have tried to learn PhotoShop on more than one occasion but I just couln't
get past how different the thinking is in the design of the interface and the logic of the
placement of certain functions comapred with what I'm used to. I don't have a good enough
reason to want to learn to use the latest and greatest software. Oddly, I'm a GURU when it comes
to computer hardware and operating systems. I seem to have a knack for that sort of thing
but I have truble with every day life. My self-esteem and self-worth could definitely use some
improvement and you may have noticed. I have noticed that when I believe in myself, there is
virtually nothing that I cannot do, it just takes me longer than the average person to get there.
I struggled in school but I have learned to teach myself. I consider myself to be far above average
intelligence (not to toot my own horn) but I have certain handicaps. I also suffer from Bi-Polar Disorder
and therefore have the propensity to get depressed or manic. I haven't had any real problems since 2009
with that however, since they changed my meds. I have anxiety problems and the only thing that seems to
work for that is meditation. I know you asked a simple question and I apologize for writng a book here.
I think Daz Studio is a great product with advanced 3D features and I intend to learn it some day.
The fact that it integrates well with Bryce now is a big plus. I can't afford much of the content for Daz,
but I'm aware that there is a lot of free stuff available. You're not the first to ask or suggest I use it.
I would like to learn how to use Blender (free) as well. Vue is way out of my price range but I know that's
what I would use if I could afford it and had the patience to learn.

you know what else work for your stuff? Art therapy. I happened to be one. How ironic. "Draw" an abstract presentation of yourself, and then start changing it. The result should represent the new you, the state you want to achieved.
