The most heartbreaking part for me is that when the party met him at Ozette, I looked at him, and I KNEW who he was... and yet he still managed to win me over. I developed crazy theories (mainly involving time travel) to convince myself he really was the nice kid he seemed to be, and then he revealed himself and I cried and cried...
And then I wanted him to redeem himself so badly! T_T At the end, when everyone was encouraging him to atone, I was on the edge of my seat. Whyyy, Mithos, why?

Some parts of the game are even sadder in retrospect.
Like this skit. It was depressing enough the first time I saw it, but after you know everything he's going to do and how he'll react to certain events...

mithos should have been saved somehow to really try to make amends for what he did and be a wandering swords man or something

I wish he could have been friends with Genis and the others until the end, being rescued by them out of his sorrow and pain somehow ;_; It's so sad that he said he would do this ever and ever again and didn't regret his choice. He's my favourite but soooooo saaaaaaaaad that nobody could really help him.

what would have been intresting is that mithos could have pulled away from teh depressionΒ live as a normal boy with a normal exphere and eventually come to realise that martel was dead. helli see him trying ot make amends for his actions by trying othelp those wiht the new name mithos albend maybe settle iniselia once his wandering and stuff is over. maybe marry someone like seles wilder. (those two are my headcannon im sorry D8)
