I always like mirror motifs in art, but I think this is the first time I've seen the "dark" variant naturally with the "original" as his reflection. Pretty cool.

Having never played Amazing Mirror past the first area, I have no idea what this guy is actually capable of.
That said, I wonder what this borb will have for a moveset.

Well, so far, we got one move example just like from Daroach from Kirby_JP on Twitter.
The move seen from the new character, DMK, he charges up his spin move, releases it and then creates a barrier, reflecting projectiles back at the enemies. And I must say, it's a very unique way to save your allies from being almost finished.
