It's only popular because it's based on a FANDOM - sonic fandom. You better deal with it. It's not artist's fault that she decided to trace\recolor an animation and put a sonic fan-character there.
I personally consider tracing as a bad thing, but it's okay to train your skills in such a manner, helps a lot in understanding of many things. Who knows, maybe this girl gonna be a nice animator someday. And you with your pointless hatred will be doomed to degradation. Of course you're not, you seem a pretty smart person to me, yet I do not understand your rage. Here you can do nothing but yell at her and demand her to delete these animation pieces. But this definitely won't help. Words won't persuade her, as she knowingly has more child-fans on her side than you do.
Underage children will always praise traces\recolors if they're drawn nicely and look good enough for their unformed perception.

Why this fact doesn't bother me? I don't know, maybe I have more important things to do (for example to work on my own skills in order to lvl up them instead of writing comments which solve nothing), so do you I guess.

Well it bothers me. Everyone is like she made some masterpiece, actually is just recolor. This is similar with anime music/nightcore I dunno how people call it. They just make music go faster and put anime picture in it. And then everyone is like ''OMG SUCH AWESOME MUSIC!11!!!1'' Forgettin' that original one exist. Those really iritates <--(did I spell it right?) me. (freakin' kids again) xD Well I'm mouse artist so It takes me forever to do one picture. I don't really even have time to practice.. But I want to.

I'm ok with such things. If someone traces/recolors my art and gets more faves than me it means for me that someone has improved my art xD
Of course, making animations by yourself is better, but not everyone can animate.

And sometimes I just want to see something like this! Noone of good animators or anime studios have made such cute shit :'3 And I like the result, it's not very important for me if it's traced or not. Plus the trace we have here is very well done.
