ya, but isn't it based on actual mythology? or so i thought. ......man, now i have to look it up......

ok, so far kishimoto is going with the legendary japanese beasts:

~Nekomata, the cat
~Tanuki, the raccoon
~Kitsune, the fox
~Genbu, the tortise

so I'm guessing the rest will be from these:

~Akamata, the snake (or mizuchi, the water dragon, or maybe even wani, the crocodile)
~Isonade, the fish (or Bakekujira, the whale)
~Byakko, the white tiger
~Hayatarou, the dog (or some similar dog spirit)
~Hihi, the baboon (or sarugami, the monkey)
~Kawauso, the otter
~Mujina, the badger
~suzaku, the bird (or a phoenix or something)

Yea...during the filler Fire temple arc....I was hoping Sora will be the host to one of unknown Bijuu but it ended with Sora being the host of Kyuubi...how original ^_<

Ep 69-70. IMO Shippuden fillers are 100x better than PART I filler arcs.
