I am completely in love with Bonsai Trees, and was glad the had them at the Como Zoo. There was a room dedicated to just Bonsais.Related content

sweet! i love going to the como zoo, especially the japanese garden. i know one of the guys who makes bonsai there, he taught a bonsai class that i attended. i am not sure if he makes all the bonsai there, i know he had a large display there. i love bonsai. is this a shimpaku i wonder?

How old was this one? I'm told they can get very old, like some species of turtle that I don't remember the name of.

wow i also love bonsai trees i love mostly japanese maple but this conifer is quite amazing i havent made any conifers yet but that would be what i want it to look like
