In media which involves magic, there's usually a point where the user of magic reaches their full potential and releases extremely powerful magic from them. And Marionette in my FNAF AU is not an exception.

Marionette's magic is mostly a mystery in my AU, it is not understood where it came from, or why Marionette has it, but she keeps honing her skills and getting better at wielding her powers in order to better the lives of her friends, and herself. But Marionette's magic becomes far more powerful if her friends' safety is at risk, she is the protector of the animatronics, giving them new life and shelter, so of course, her want and need to keep them safe is what can trigger this surge of power. And once this happens, nothing will stand in Mari's way, and she will not stop until her friends are safe and the threat is eliminated. She may never kill, but that doesn't mean her magic is harmless and shouldn't be feared, as it should. Though after this...Marionette will be exhausted and dazed, and need rest, she definitely won't be able to trigger this outburst of magic unless there are no other options. But can she trigger it willingly? Nope! ...Ok that was a lot of science and explanation of how Marionette's magic works in critical conditions.

This piece's inspiration was fairly simple, we have seen characters in fiction release powerful magic in critical moments, and I wanted to draw how Marionette looks when she taps into her power; Radiating magical energy, with the stripes on her arms and legs fading in and out in rhythmical pattern, and most importantly, white glowing eyes to indicate how she has become overtaken by the magic. This was fairly simple to draw, with the magical elements taking the longest to execute and look the greatest. I am satisfied with the result, this piece may be somewhat simple, but sometimes you don't need to do crazy feats when you draw stuff, the simple things can be enough! Also...it's my birthday today, take this as a little gift from me to you all as a way to celebrate!
