Yes, but Kouha is more than just your average psycho -- he also has a really kind side; the way he treats his siblings and soldiers is precisely what made me gain my respect for him. The appreciation he has for them is his most loveable trait, in my opinion. Along with the fact that his outfit seems to absolutely ADORE showing off its wearer's pretty skin and making him look like a lovely little bitchboy~ *drool* THERE, I SAID IT...I can go die in a hole now.

Actually, I believe the author of the manga herself has admitted that the inspiration for Kouha's sword indeed came from Zangetsu... though I'm not 100% certain. I think I read it in the official Wiki of Magi. I guess you'd be able to find more info if you checked it out yourself.
