Description
So then, gonna try and stick around Deviant Universe, despite a less than stellar performance last month. And to start it off, we have the September Challenge which has members' characters teaming up or doing battle with characters from all types of mediums outside Deviant Universe.
Being that the only character I have at the moment is DEET Girl, I was thinking who'd make a good team mate for her. Then I thought of one of the primary inspirations for her in the first place:
Excel Saga
This anime holds a very special place in my heart, as it's one of my favorite animes of all time. Love the title character, Excel, and her insane antics. So having her teaming up with DEET Girl seemed perfect, with both of them causing unintentional but well meaning havoc!

Sooo, I finally decided to give Excel Saga a try and, in addition to the opening theme being funky as all hell, (even with Hyatt muffling her deathly-cough) it was as bonkers as I was expecting, seeing how just +Watching you has unintentionally prepared me for such events
...
Like, not a single fuck is given, which is always good for a laugh when it comes to anime and the fact the creator of the manga gave permission for the anime adaptation to just do whatever adds to the insanity... and I love it~ X3

And that's why Excel Saga is one of my favorites. All logic is nonexistent for the benefit of pure insanity!

I guess my brain may have melted trying to understand what's happening purely in the first episode in that scenario
Not even five minutes in and the main character dies at least three times and is revived thanks to a Deus ex Machi- I mean a literal Plot Hole, which is a talkingΒ galaxy with arms... that alone is enough to let you know that trying to make sense of it all is a fool's errand
