Description My wonderful squad of Grey Knight Termies!

I swear I love these guys - they're soooo much fun to play with. Expensive as hell....but totally fun!

A few of them have been converted a bit, just to give them some character.

As always, any comments, critiques, or suggestions are more than welcome!

aye, the one, fourth from the left, with two Power Swords, THAT one surely stands out. :3 Beautiful job on all of them.

considered starting a second army of Daemonhunters *Tau is my primary right now*, but expensive in both dollars, points, and paint cost methinks. XD

fav'd

Thanks alot

Hmmm....the only tips I can give are be patient and take your time....oh and drybrushing is a lifesaver as far as making them look fantastic with minimal effort. You'll have to post pics when you're finished - I'd love to see what you've done

I love Grey knights, i personally do them black and gold (Black knights), these guys are very well painted (not your very best) but still really nice.

How long do you usually spend on each model?
I'm very impatient myself.

Thanks

Paint time really depends on the model for me. If I really focus I can actually have a model done (complete with highlights) in an evening or two (5-6 hrs). If I'm painting competitively or for a special reason, I can take days or weeks (working in 3-4 hour blocks). I don't mind being patient - my biggest problem is painting a large group of similar models (troop choices, for example). The monotony and repetitiveness gets to me after a while...

I know what you mean, i guess i would feel better about doing nicer models, if i felt i didn't have to do them so soon, even if there isn't any rush to finish them, i still sorta rush em.
I guess ill start taking your advice and having 2 hour portions for painting, might help, thanks!

There indeed are - one of them is holding two swords...another has a wolf pelt cape....another has just a single sword. Just small things here and there, but it still makes them unique.

Oh the armor was easy. I painted a base of Boltgun Metal, then did a slightly watered down blue inkwash over it. On top of that, I drybrushed a mixture of Chainmail and blue ink, and then hit the highlights with Mithril Silver. Nothin' to it!

Well, two of them have swords instead of halberds, one of them has a staff instead of a halberd, and another has an ax instead of a halberd. There are also two of them who have wolf pelts - one as a tabard and one as a cape.
