....you see in her eyes, and feel in her presence.

This drawing is for my Mother-in-Law, Barb, for Mother's Day.
She saw one of my reference pics of a wolf peeking out from behind a tree and fell in love with it.....so I decided to suprise her with this.
I'm really proud of how this piece turned out - I don't think I've ever drawn eyes with such intense emotion before. (Kinda reminded me of the eagle in my "Isaiah" drawing ) And I know the tree beside her isn't as detailed as the wolf itself, but I wasn't really worried as much about that....as long as it "appeared" to be a tree, I was happy.
I just hope Barb likes it as much as I do!
