This balance exists everywhere in nature, nether of them is better or more evil than the other, just two sides of the same coin, relying on each other for all time. The lion needs the zebra to eat, the zebra needs the lion to keep their numbers manageable or else they would eat their way to starvation. The endless circle of prey and predator.
