I had been poking at creating other Doctors in Guild Wars 2 but not having much success in finding ideas. Then I looked in the Self-Style Hair Kit for the premium hairs, and seeing this, I just had to make the Eleventh Doctor, named Doctor Williams in the game (Doctor Pond was already taken, and I'm holding onto Doctor Oswald in case I ever make a Twelfth Doctor).

As far as I can tell, there's only one bowtie in the game, and that's on the female Aetherblade medium armor, but I wasn't interested in making a femme!Eleven. There's a bit of a bowtie on the Noble Count outfit, but the jacket in that case is more of classic style with long tail and waistcoat. And anyway, while Eleven's main symbol is the bowtie, his look is his boffin jacket. So, I worked on trying to find a short, tweed-looking jacket. Most of the coats in Guild Wars 2 are long and decorated, but I found that the Heritage Greatcoat worked well with the Country Pants. Interstingly, the Heritage Greatcoat only goes down to the waist; the tail covering the hips are part of the pants, which is why the stripes on the pockets are black, matching the pants, instead of gray like the piping on the jacket. The cuffed boots approximate Eleven's highwater hem.

Doctor Williams is sadly a Necromancer, specifically a specialized Reaper; to make this outfit, he needed to be a light armor class, and I already have multiples of the other two light armor classes, so he had to be this. On the other hand, this allows him to wield an axe, and the one I made for him is the legendary axe, Astralaria. When wielded, its blade is cosmic, and the swathe of space covers his entire arm. The effect is in 3-D, so you can see the parallax of the stars as you move around him. In his offhand, he carries the hourglass focus, the Eternal Sands.
