I saw this cute little guy's Lineart at [link] and thought he looked really cute. And since I also found out she kinda hoped I'd colour it it was a deal XDHope you like what I did with him
Tried to make the waves in the back look a bit ariel-ish, thought it would fit

Sure, you can change his colour scheme if you want..or just make a second version
The fins were coloured the way I usually do my stuff.. First do a layer with the base colour, then one for shadows, one for highlights and I add at least 2 different colours for each, then smudge them with the smudge tool on low opacity to blend the colours and create a bigger variety of different shades (dunno if this is understandbale :<
when I was done colouring everything, I added a lot of small dots, made some glow too and stuff
