Looking at this I feel like winter's here already~ Honestly wish it was... it's sooo hot here T T
I've also started getting back into painting a bit. Haven't found exactly what works the best for me but I figured I should start somewhere anyways.
I started this artwork a bit differently which made it harder to blend the character into the BG but I think I did really well shading the character o w o
just not with the proportions lol. The proportions are all outta whack ahhhhh...
It also ended up being vibrant again.. but.. ngl I kinda like it this time :0 If anything I think I just over abused the sparklies and CSP brushes LOL;;
I guess I could atleast say the character adds a nice balance? Since I've been trying my best to not make the characters too vibrant atleast.

it's mostly vibrant colours and adding a luminosity layer, airbrushing it ontop for that glowy look~

That def sounds tricky trying to pull it off with watercolour
You'd prob have to be very careful with how dark/light you shade, where you're shading and adding colours @ @
cuz you prob can't go back once the colours really sink into the sheet right?

It's easier when you can have things in separate layers and not have to worry about muddying colours xD
But yeah there's a mode called Luminosity that really brightens things up and makes areas shinier xD

I really do enjoy using csp ^ ^
I still prefer doing a few things on SAI but am lovingggg CSP and their saves and just not limiting my canvas size like how SAI does xDDD
Since I'd like to start working on larger sized canvases now.
