Description
*UPDATE: So I noticed that the tutorial is much smaller once uploaded onto deviantart and some of you may have trouble seeing/reading this. If dl button isn't working etc here's a sta.sh vers. sta.sh/01m15f8tnlvw *
For information on what brushes I use and settings: sta.sh/2qjijnb3dci?edit=1
Has both SAI and CSP brushes
Highly requested from both DeviantArt and Instagram so finally decided to make anothaaa one.
It's been like what? 6 years since my last hair colouring tutorial and 4 years since last tutorial I've ever made lol... it was time.
Normally I do all of step 2 at once (so no need to go creating all those layers for every step! It's all meant to be done in 1 layer)
But I thought It would be helpful to break it down into smaller parts for easier understanding on how to build details.
I tried to be as informative as I possibly could with the given space. I may have missed something but I hope it'll be easy enough to follow, understand and learn from!
Feel free to take w.e you learned here and apply it to your own work and or discard any parts you feel unnecessary or pick up only a few sections.
This was made with the intention to teach, use as a study/practice material for anyone interested so you go do you!
and finally Thankyou for all choosing to suffer with me!
Got questions? Ask away down below or dm me. Whichever you prefer and I'll try to help out as much as I possibly can.
Please do not use, trace, alter, copy, claim, reupload as your own without my permission.

I would like to read it better because some of the words are hard to see but it doesn't seem like the download button is working. :c It's a wonderful tutorial that I'd love to share with some of my aspiring artist friends that need it.

Yeah I realized it turned out to be much smaller than I'd like ; - ;It's much bigger on my sta.sh, maybe deviantart has a limit or something > < but here's a sta.sh link:

ahhh this is so nice xD
My style is totally different... But Maybe imma try this once in a while xD (If I'm not too lazy to do lines like always and go for lineless again *cough* )

I think the great thing with colouring more detailed like this is that you don't necessarily need to have great lines because it really does get hidden by all the shading
It works even better if you colour over the lines to a similar colour to the hair, skin, clothes etc
So don't worry about needing to make the lines so nice o w o)b
but yeah I get it, doing line work is the worst part for most people xDDD
Glgl tho and hf if you do ever give this a try ^ ^)b

Yeahhhh I know xD Usually I do lines ... or clean sketch as i'd rather call it, but even if I color them in, they're still distracting to me xD So I usually paint over them in the end anyway on a top layer.
Last time i tried usual lines was this i think?
Usually paint over every single line like i did here .. Idk maybe my lines are just too thick or something xDD
But I definitely planning around trying out completely different styles and see how they work, and you your hair shading looks incredible, so I'm really tempted to try it out x3 (If i can manage to pull it off that is^^'')
Thanks xDD

Like what Shadow said~
Yup you can definitely do this on SAI as well!
I have a link in my description that has my SAI brush settings or preferences to get (for ex.) an airbrush to look/work a certain way.
