Did you try DAZ studio? You can do any character with that too, without limits, and if you fiss a morph you can create one yourself with blender. I did Brian, Olav and Chris

well tried it some years ago before started to use XNA
for me it was harder, I can pose better with sliders and you have to pay for some content you'd like to have
didn't used it too much, maybe sould spend more time with it but XNA is the easiest for me and of course you can download characters from almost all games that is what I wanted
maybe I should try but afraid I would have problems with posing, more detailed easier this way (for me)
