**sorry, another random update XD this picture was also easy to take. now its been properly watermarked and such. also easier to view, somehow i didnt know it was that huge XD anyway, sorry if this is in ur devwatch again!this is a portrait of this was posted on his stock account a while ago. the picture isn't posted anymore, so sorry, i can't link it.
if ur gonna comment here and all ur gonna say is 'oh hes hot' or somethin like that, dont even bother commenting. i say advanced critique encouraged cuz i want real comments, menaing on the drawing, not just the subject. i didnt just draw him cuz hes uber hot or somethin, the picture looked challenging.
oh, and i didnt include the border agin cuz it wouldnt fit in my scanner, lol. that top part u see is part of the burning i did. i might try and scan on the school's scanner cuz its bigger

for a second, i thought that was a photo and when i read your description, i was soooo, i mean really really REALLY shocked.
The potrait is freakin welldone and all that mushy stuff. XD just kidding.
The eyes seems very... Mysterious and the texture seems so realistic and... Yea.

Whoa. You did a tremendous tremendous job on the shading. I spent 10 minutes staring at the piccy trying to convince myself it wasn't a photo. Terrifically terrifically done, absolutely beautiful and wonderful. There is really no critique to give...kudos! And muffins!

Hmm. My only real qualms with the image would be that you could have put a little more detail into the edges of the sweater.
It sort of fades out line wise and the line is very flat.
The textures lines on the sweater should be shown where those lines hit with the background. A sort of slightly beveled look, not completely flat.

Oh, my gosh. I am in awe of your skills. The texture! The texture on his shirt! Beautifully done. I can't see anything to critique, as hard as I look. The detail in the lips, especially, is... I'm running out of words. "Awesome" is really all I want to say. Awesome.

i have to say "he's hot" now that i got that out of my system, i would love to see some of your illustration work done in this style. i know that illustration is supposed to be stylized but i think it would be neat to see more photorealism in your work at school. i still don't understand why you're not a drawing major.... you're amazing at this. i'm really envious of you (i'm not afraid to admit it ^-^ ) don't worry too much about the border(s) cause you want the main focus to be on the subject and i think by adding the burned edges it takes away from the drawing. it's already a powerful image in both his gaze, stance and the details of the drawing, the burned edges seem to be slapped on as an after thought. we know he's smoldering hot we don't need to see it in a literal way. (lol i made a funny). i love his nostrils!!! i know it sounds wierd but he has no nose hairs on the inside which makes me wonder about whether or not he trims them. (it's 2:30 am right now) (that should explain the last comment)not only that but noses are hard to draw because they are all light and shadow. one wrong move and he'll have a wart on his nose, but you pulled it off wonderfully. i really enjoy your work!

The hair is definately my favourite, I love how piecey it is, and that it has no unrealistic highlights. I am drawn to his eyes, but probably because they look so flat in his face compared to the rest of the drawing. Probably just his makeup though. That piercing is perfect!

without the reference it is hard to know...you could have had more definition around the eye...was the picture much larger than the original? I have a tough time with detail when I have to enlarge it. great work!

you did an amazing job with his hair, that was always one of my biggest faults. his eye ball looks a little small but that might just be from the black eye shoadow. I love how you put so much detail and time into the little things that people would usually look over. They would spend all their time on the focus point and do a horrible job on everything, like his shirt, but it seems you put just as much devotion into that as everything else.

thank you!!! i use mostly only mechanical pencil. occassionally ill pull out a 9B woodless pencil, but i go over it again with mechanical pencil anyway XD

This is really beautifully done, and the drawing has a lot of life to it. The hair and the eye, especially, caught my attention. The only criticism that I can give is that some parts of the drawing (especially around the mouth) could use a bit more contrast, in my opinion. His lips are very light, almost like he's wearing very bright lip gloss. (If he was, then retract that statement.
