I used photoshop I mainly used the smudge,dodge and burn tool to make it look like that

There's "Dead Space - Downfall", an animated movie telling how the infection started, how the Marker was found, etc. It's creepy, and not half bad. You can even find it on youtube, I think.

I think there's some badly done anime of it.. as well as the 'animated comic' that came out on PSN when the first game was being hyped.. That sucker was interesting, but... kinda painful to watch.
