more digital stuff. this took me a few hours. i lyk how it turned out tho. i lyk sonic's scarf and sports tapei'm still having a hard time with the shading. it looks off somehow can someone tell me the correct way to shade this? i was trying to make sonic look shiny.

Hey there! I'm no expert, but I found your work through Improvement-Club and thought I'd try to give you some pointers for the shading
You've got a good grasp on light source, since all your shadows and highlights come from the same source, which is essential for good shading. for the shading itself, I feel as if you should have made the shadows on his body a bit larger. There aren't really any shadows on the quills on Sonic's head, which I feel would add more interest to the drawing if you added them. The highlights on his body look great, but the ones on his eyes kind of bother me. Perhaps if you tried to color the white areas on his clothes and body with a slightly darker white, and save the whitest for the highlights. If you want to add a special something to your shading, you can try playing with the hues of the shadows (shading the blue parts with blueish purple instead of blue, etc.)
