Description
Eh, finished this half assed because I didn't want to do this anymore.I saw *TamberElla 's shading tutorial and decided to try doing the erase away shading. I actually like it. But right now I don't have the muse to do digital art... I actually want to make my art look like a nice Painterly style but, I hate how limited on Photoshop is on the traditional brushes. :/

THis is amazing!Β
Would it be okay if I use this for a PokΓ©mon card? You will of course be credited as the illustrator if so Β

I've herd that's one of the few gripes artists going that route with with PS; not enough natural looking brushes.
I don't have the original source file, but I could always try sending Sai to you. If you're interested, feel free to drop me a note. ;o

I saw her tutorial, and that erase-away shading caught my eye too. I've been messing with different tools with little to no avail trying to go with a 'painterly' style. XD
That green glow is pretty sweet; Sharpedo must have been lurking there, waiting to make his move.

I can do better with paint tool SAI though. Alas, I only have Photoshop which is rather a pain in the ass to do these kind of stuff.
