*You can already tell by the picture alone that this is gonna be a touchy subject. I don’t think this should be one, but it is regardless, and unnecessarily so. While I wanted to keep my stance on this topic to myself, after seeing a friend of mine getting recently harassed over it, I don’t feel like I have a choice anymore… Besides… This could be fun

This next speech, written by Sparky, Olivia, Shocko, and I, is not gonna be easy to say. That’s because some may think otherwise in regards to what we’re about to say. But here it is:
AI being used to create art isn’t just scary in some ways; it’s kind of a letdown. Yeah, I know that’s rich, coming from a literal body snatcher, but how would you like it if someone else got all the credit for your hard work that you poured your all into? Hmm? And I say that as someone who’s been on BOTH sides of the theft! Believe me! Art’s supposed to be a labour of love. Olivia gave a good (and tasty) example just a few moments ago; Sure, factory-processed meals might have SOME good savoury flavour in them, but they just don’t compare to the love and meticulousness that goes into the craft of a homemade meal, that hand-hammered meat that is sprinkled in breadcrumbs and cheese, that pizza that is carefully topped with fresh mozzarella… AI, at least to all of us here that you see and our fwends as well, is like factory-producing art, and while the initial output might LOOK nice, the truth of it is that there was no effort put into it. Shocko has not been afraid to admit that he’s been jealous of the work of fellow creators around him. Sometimes, he looks at all they can do and then remembers that he couldn’t use shading to save his life, as he put it… But if there’s ANYTHING that gives him a shred of comfort, and I honestly think he should’ve written a better script for himself here, it’s that at least he puts everything he has into his craft. Whether that be the visuals or the writing that goes into it, it’s gotta be more art than AI ever will be… *Sigh* To close out, we all think that Sparky gave a brilliant example as to what AI is like; A leech, a possessor… Something that hitches a ride on the greatness of others to try and pose itself as significant. It’s basically the Demon Frog from Nightmare Enterprises… Honestly? I personally couldn’t agree more with that last bit. AI, at least in the realm of art, is SUCH a leech! Art’s supposed to be this feeling of accomplishment, no matter how skilled or not we are at it. So, to all of you out there who might not feel like you’re the best, we have two things to say for you. One, you’re giving it your best, and that’s what matters. And two?! You’re certainly better than the ones trying to take the easy way out, not realising that they’re depriving themselves of an artist’s experience!
