And indeed! He was going to direct a sequel to Alien. He probably would have saved the franchise (you know, after Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection, I mean), if even a little!
Alas... I've understood he decided to back down from that. I was really hoping to see that movie.
Have you seen Chappie? District 9 will be my favourite, but I thought Chappie was very nice too!

I only recently saw it for the first time, itβs truly lightning in a bottle! Even though I think a sequel would kind of spoil it, I think it would be interesting if they ever decide to release a comic or something set in the same universe.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, this story ended pretty well, but there's so much more to explore within that world. A movie or comic about the cannibal gangs in the area could be really cool, or maybe a prequel showing how the aliens lived and arrived on Earth
