Day 135 of my 2016-a drawing every day resolution. Drawn on a 9" x 12" ampersand scratchboard in about 2 hours using fiber glass brush and art knife. Colored with acrylic inks.Reference picture by David I'm not tiny!

Any type of bird have been the bane of my existence, I cannot draw them to save my life. So I envy how beautiful this owl came out. Lovely! I really like the moss on the log too, even without the wood of the log being fleshed out I could see it was a mossy log. Don't see a lot of birds from you, but you do them quite well!

A wonderfully atmospheric piece - at least that's what I think I'd call it. The way the light is handled is so beautiful.
