Who doesn't love Jessa Rabbit.So the New Manga studio (version 4) has a color feature. And a 3D model feature.
This is my test at both of them. The Piano was traced off of a piano 3D model and the color is...well that self explanatory.
The problem with the color is that it only works like the screen tones, so if you like to paint in watercolor like transparencies in photoshop (like i do) this is not your program.
You need a stronger sense of color theory to get the colors to work right in this program. Example. If you want a transparent purple shadow cast onto the red dress you need to know hot to combine a blue screen tone with the red to trick your eye into seeing purple.
Also note Donald duck is not as easy to draw as you would think...

well i was doing my best to avoid copyright infringement. a white duck that clearly references Donald, but does not look like the character explicitly, but everyone knows who hes supposed to be given the context.

Really? Debut doesn't have an eye dropper? odd..... Maybe the tool bar is just hidden? I can't imagine THATS one of the tools they make you pay for in the EX version....

Nope; it is. I have the tool bar out, and i even looked it up online.
Everyone is frustrated because they won't even give you an eyedropper... (I have to use two programs just to color. >,> Last time i'm doing it in manga studio when coloring something not done, originally, in manga studio - particularly since you can't multiply lines, either. you have to copy, turn it into a selection layer, and THEN rasterize it.)

Well To be honest, even though manga studio 4 offers colors, its not meant to be a coloring software. Manga is black and white art form. That software strong point, and purpose is to create black and white sequential story telling art as seen in manga (hence the name of the software).
And there shouldn't be a need to multiply lines. when you import it, you should check the box that says "import white as transparent" and then you just create a new layer underneath the line art layer. (or if you draw in the program straight up white is automatically transparent)
Thats another mistake you're making, you're trying to color in manga studio as if it was photoshop. its not the same software, so you can't expect the same tools and processes to work.
All that being said i still color using photoshop. Manga studio is just for my drawings and comics. And since i hate coloring, i use it most often.

That box isn't available, most of the time.
It IS good for my own drawing - i love it - but since i'm just starting out as a colorist for my own comic, and a friends, i'm still learning what i can and can't do.
