After three years of trying and years of failed attempts, I went all out this time to do the perfect pic to get into the book, UDON has finally chosen a pic of mine to go into their Capcom Fighting tribute book. I was very happy to get this news I tell you. So, they gave us the Go Ahead to post it online for everyone to see.I had to think of something that would stick out and I came up with this, the best characters that carry swords in some of Capcom's greatest games from Knights of the Round to Red Earth, to Captain Commando. These Bladed warriors team up to do battle against a gang of dragons and getting rich in the process.
It took me 3 attempts to get this one the way I liked it and the colors are on point on this one right down to the gold coin floor.

3 things I would like to say regarding this picture:
1: Nice selection of old arcade games and fighting games. FINALLY, an entry that does not contain SF.
2: HOLY LIVING FUCK. I'm honestly surprised you remembered Claire from Plasma Sword. My favourite fencer character in the game (Eat your heart out, Franco)
3: Speaking of huge blades, where are Bilstein and Blade? The size of their swords pretty much outclass every single character present in this picture
Overall, an outstanding composition which, obviously, is going straight to my favs

Yes, that's Arthur, but he's not the Arthur you're thinking about. Despite the fact both characters were inspired by the arthurian legend, this Arthur (As well as his companions, Lancelot and Perceval on the left and right) come from the arcade game "Knights of the Round", due to rules of the contest limiting the character selection to fighting games (excluding crossovers) and arcade/beat 'em up games.

I always thought that was kind of weird on knights of the round when you got Percival to max level he all of sudden buzzed his head and grew a beard. Like, "My manliness level has gone to epic scruffy!"

Udon had limitations on the characters we could use only from certain games.
Which is also the reason Strider is not in the pic.

Might I inqure as to why were your ideas killed by the rules UDON set? There are tons of fighting games within Capcom, so why does it have to be a crossover with characters from other companes?
