Description
Our first assignment in Illustration II this semester was to illustrate a single word, and to do it in a way so that it wasn't blatant nor achingly subtle. The word crocodiles kept cycling through my head- not as the word to illustrate, but as the subject matter- and so I chose "awkward" as my word and came up with the idea of a crocodile businessman bring home a wildebeest friend from work only to find his wife preparing exactly that for dinner.Heh. Awkward.

The great thing is, is that even without looking at the title, the illustration alone radiates that word. Definitely awkward!
