Looks like you've been to some funky cool places.
This picture is great, not only by the subject but also the composition.

Some kind of implicit grid is set up by the horizon and the horizontal wooden planks crossing the vertical lines of the boat masts and the feet of the jetee. But this very square composition is jazzed up by the diagonal of the edge of the jetee and the ripples in the water, drawing the user into the sea. Also the dominant blue of the scene in contrast to the brown wood increases this impression as it's the brown shape that causes the dynamics of the shot. All this makes this very calm picture feel alive and warm.

Sorry I got carried away, but this picture kind of moved me, and I wanted to give you a good welcome back to dA...
